Hyundai did a great job designing the Kona, its external striking lines, reliable driving attitude with an excellent interior, Kona Comes in two different main versions, one with petrol engine and the other is Electric.
Let’s have a look at the Petrol version, Hyundai Kona comes with two engines models to select from, and both are four-cylinder. But one of them is equipped with turbocharger providing a fair enough acceleration with an excellent fuel consumption
The Hyundai Kona exterior lines are beautiful, and its design had astonishing enhancement, the cabin will be suitable for most drivers

We think the best model is the Limited one, and it’s almost equipped with the most options available for this car
As a standard car features, inside the cabin, we have automatic climate control and electrically adjustable driver’s seat.
Hyundai Kona price starts from $21,195 to $28,845, if you love to go AWD it will cost an extra $1400
Kona Powertrain and Performance
The first Engine is four cylinders 2000cc and produce 147 HP with six-speed auto transmission
In SEL version with AWD, it does 0 to 60 mph in 9.2 seconds, the higher version equipped with four-cylinder 1600cc turbocharged produce 175HP
The 0 to 60 mph in 6.6 seconds, the only problem here is the turbo lag and the unsmooth performance of the seven-speed automatic transmission in low-speed moving
The cabin is well isolated, and suspension isolates the road roughness very well
On the other side, steering is not good and does not deliver safe and good handling feeling while driving on the highway.
Hyundai Kona Cabin
It’s always a very tough dilemma to balance between an attractive design and comfort, Kona managed to solve this problem,
Excellent material used inside the cabin, seats are very comfort
In front of the driver, a 4.2 screen surrounded by two analogue gauges, steering wheel material from a high-quality leather
The infotainment system has a simple button to navigate through menus, also many safety options like lane-keeping assistance, emergency braking and driver attention alert
The SE and SEL comes with 7inch touch screen, and the ultimate model has 8inch
The Ultimate model also has the head-up display, which makes the driving and navigation easier by displaying the directions and other info like vehicle speed.
The cargo space is not impressive if compared to SUV, but we think it’s reasonably sized and will satisfy most of your needs. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) tested the Kona, and the result was impressive according to their standards.
